OnePlus Z leaked renders, Specs,Release date and Expected price

With one plus launching the one plus 8 series last month, the Chinese manufacturer is ready to to launch the one plus Z to tackle the budget segment in Indian market. As of lately the OnePlus CEO 'Pete Lau' confirmed the company is working on an affordable smartphone that could be launched in July.

The One plus Z is expected to be an all new category of smartphones for OnePlus, with the company likely to equip it with mid-range processors and start its retail at an affordable price.

According to leaks online the display is expected to be 6.4 inches in size with and AMOLED display. The phone is expected to feature a single punch hole cut-out placed at the centre of the top edge of the screen. There are also narrow bezels on the sides. It looks like there won’t be any curved edges as the phone will be targeting the affordable price point, it won’t even need anything special.

The phone will be powered by a snapdragon 765G Chipset and run the Android 10 Os. As for the memory it will have an 8GB ram and inbuilt storage of 128GB. On the camera front it will have a dual camera setup with primary camera of 48MP and a 16MP secondary camera with features like digital zoom, auto flash, and face detection. For selfies it might have 12MP front camera.

The phone will be supported by a 4000mAh battery and will get 30W fast charging as well. Other specifications could include an in-display fingerprint sensor.

The most important aspect of the one plus Z will be its price. The phone has already been confirmed as the budget phone and will be directly competing with the IPhone Se and google pixel 4a which rumoured to launch in the coming months. The expectation is that the phone could be launched at a price point closer to the Rs 30,000 mark in India.
