Samsung Galaxy S21 Rumours, Specs And likely Launch Date
With the onset of 2021 Samsung are rumoured to launch the galaxy S21 in January. Samsung Galaxy S21 is the next major flagship smartphone to watch out for. The New model is believed to come in two variant that is one with Snapdragon and Exynos chipsets. And both variants are said to get significant improvement in battery life. Samsung is also expected to offer fast wired and wireless charging support on the Samsung Galaxy S21.
According to a youtuber who is available on Twitter with username @TheGalox_, has suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S21 running on Samsung's Exynos 2100 SoC would deliver between 25 to 35 percent better battery life over the Exynos 990-powered Galaxy S20. Meanwhile, he said the Snapdragon 888 SoC (which is the newest chipset from snapdragon) variant of the Galaxy S21 has around 15 percent better battery life than the Galaxy S20 powered by the Snapdragon 865.
With iPhone ditching the inbox charger, Samsung are also rumoured to follow the suit by leaving the charger out. According to a new rumour, Samsung will indeed not bundle charger in select markets. The rumour also adds that the company will skip microSD card slot in the S21 series.
Removing power adapters is apparently aimed at tackling the growing problem of e-waste. According to Global E-Waste Monitor 2020, the world produced 53.6 million metric tones of electronic waste in 2019.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 is expected to feature a 6.8 inches display with a dynamic Amoled screen with a 120hz refresh rate.The phone will be powered by a Snapdragon 888/ Exynosn2100(International).The phone will support a 128Gb/256Gb storage and 12GB Ram for both variants.
The phone will come with a quad camera setup with a 108MP primary camera,10 MP Periscope lens, a 10MP telephoto camera and a 12MP ultra wide camera. As for the selfie camera it will come with a 40MP camera.
Samsung have recently launched a teaser trailer, Titled “A new Galaxy awaits” the short 30-second clip is a stylish rehash of the design evolution of the entire S-series.
MySmartPrice reports that the Unpacked event for the S21 reveal is set for January 14, 3PM GMT. Samsung has an event at CES scheduled for January 6, but that one will be focused on home electronics. Still, the wait is almost over – Samsung China is already accepting pre-orders for the S21
