Xiaomi to launch a series of Laptops in the Indian market.

With Xiaomi dominating the mobile industry in the Indian market, The Brand now plans to launch a series of laptops. It had confirmed plans to launch Mi-branded laptops in India at the start of 2020. Xiaomi India Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain along with key personnel have started teasing the new launch through their social media accounts.

Xiaomi India’s Managing Director Manu Kumar Jain posted a teaser video on twitter saying “its time”.The Mi branded laptops will go by the name of Redmibook and can launch anytime soon.

With the world battling the covid pandemic and almost everyone is working from home, This looks like a great time to launch a laptop and xiaomi are ready to grab this opportunity.

Xiomie is expected to launch RedmiBook 14 laptop in India as this device has already received a BIS certification. The same laptop is available in china which cost around RMB 3,999 which 40,130 rs in india. The company could launch this laptop with a similar price tag in India. The base model comes with 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD storage, and Intel Core i5 processor. There is also a 512GB SSD storage model with Core i5 or Core i7 processor. The Core i5 model is available for RMB 4,499 which is around Rs 45,150)rs while the Core i7 model is available for RMB 4,999 which is around Rs 50,150.

The laptop features metal unibody design and the overall texture and layers copies the design of the MacBook Air. It ships with a new 10th generation Intel Core processor. It is paired with an NVIDIA MX250 graphics processor, which should be good enough for casual gaming and video editing. There is an option to configure the laptop with either Core i5 or Core i7 models.It is said to give a 10hours of battery life and comes with a inbuilt cooling system.The laptop weighs only 1.5kg and features a 14inch display.
